First off, to all the people that have come up to me and said they enjoyed reading, or really said anything, I want to say thank you. And for that matter, thank you any person that even takes some time to read this stuff. It really means a lot to me to hear it, to see comments spring up or just see that every so often someone has linked one of my posts on another site. Thank you thank you thank you.
Second Off, I started to receive Epic levels of Spam recently. Like, in the hundreds per day category. Ergo I have been spending huge amounts of time reorganizing and updated the site, and learning about all this interwebz stuff. Comments now need to be approved before posting if your a first time poster. I really didn’t want to do that, I wanted it to be as easy to comment as possible. I will be working towards the anyone can comment approach, but I have spent hours cleaning the comment sections of spam. While it’s flattering to see hundreds of comments, I happen to know that I barely have 100 visitors a week. Something I do hope changes, and hopefully will as I learn more and more.
I also made the Gallery page and the Links page actual pages filled with some content. Check em out.
And another thing, while I’m at it. I am not the only writer on this site. While it is awesome when people tell me that I’m awesome, I must give credit where credit is due. If you look under the title of the post, it will say, in this instance, By Mutt. Or it will say By Baron Samoyed (like the Game Reviews earlier.) There’s a backstory here that has been posted in multiple places, so I won’t go into it. Just know that indeed, there are 2 main authors of blog post on my little site. Myself and my good friend Baron Samoyed. Right then.
Finally, Ive been devoting my lunches to building a 3d chess bored (I decided one day that chess boards should have terrain to make it feel like a real battle.) It’s still a work in progress, but I have already had people offer to buy one from me. If anyone would like one, lemme know via email or keep an eye on the Marketplace Tab.
It’s still a work in progress. I plan on adding a semigloss finnish, red circles with darker stain to clearly mark the alternating tiles, a border around the outside, and the center to be filled with epoxy made to look like water (all great battles are fought on either side of a river, right?)
Thank You Again!
I said I was posting links at the bottom already, right? Fricken awesome version of Santana’s Black Magic Woman
